Brixton’s going crazy. Ghana just beat the USA 2-1 in the World Cup and the Ghanaians are celebrating. It started with really loud reggae music across the road but that’s now pretty much drowned out by the chorus of car horns. Every now and then you here the cheer go up, “Ghana!”. There’s a party starting out in the street and it seems like everyone’s joining in.
But then, Brixton still being Brixton, the sirens start…
I’ve created a new section, Scripts (see menu on left), this week to accommodate the work I’ve been doing preparing an entry for My One Word script competition. I don’t have high hopes of winning anything but these activities force me to focus.
